Revelation 21: The Coming of New Heaven, New Earth

Revelation 21 talks about a New Heaven and a New Earth

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.  I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

There is a window in time not too far away when this can happen.  It coincides with Passover or Pesach on Apr 15, 2020.

Oct 3, 2016 – Trumpets or Rosh HaShanah

Apr 15, 2020 – Passover or Pesach, start of Spring and a new beginning, the Wedding Banquet

May 30, 2020 – Weeks or Pentecost or Shavuot - end of Spring

Q: How did you derive the date?
The date is exactly 1,290 days from Oct 3, the feast of Rosh HaShanah in 2016.

THE COUNTDOWN

Revelation 12 and the Tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe

When I reviewed Rev 12: 6, and the timing of Jewish feasts in 2016 and 2020, I became convinced the countdown began when the Woman fled to the wilderness (on the feast of Rosh HaShanah).

Rev 12:16 “The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.”

Notes on Rosh HaShanah and Pesach:

• Exactly 1,290 days from Rosh HaShanah on Oct 3, 2016 is Pesach on Apr 15, 2020

• Rosh HaShanah is known as the Feast of Trumpets.  This feast mirrors the time when a groom comes for his bride "like a thief in the night” and they flee to the place he had prepared for her.

• "Of that day or hour no man knows, but my Father alone" is an expression used by a groom when asked when his wedding will be.

He says that because it is his father who oversees the construction of the bridal chamber. The father determines when it will be completed; only then can the groom set forth to take his bride.

The bridal chamber is a spiritual vessel in us; it will contain The Union that is about to take place.

• Rosh HaShanah is also known as the Coronation of the Christ; when the Christs or Collective Christ will begin to reign.

• Pesach or Passover commemorates the Exodus story, in which the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt.

Note: Egypt is a metaphor for hate, sin, and separating from one another vs. oneness and wholeness.

Q: You mentioned 1,290 days while Rev 12:6 says 1,260. Why is there a difference?

A: Following is a quote from an article that explains the biblical 1,290 and 1,260 days well.
“There is no contradiction here, only a misunderstanding.   In Daniel 12:6, Daniel asked the angel how long it would take to fulfill the things he had been talking about . . . . The angel answered, “It will be for a time, times and half a time.” This phrase is repeated in Rev. 12:14 . . . .

Then in Daniel (and only there), the angel gave two other time spans. One is 1,290 days, and the other is 1,335 days (Daniel 12:11-12).

The angel did not explain this, but many scholars believe 1,290 days is the combined length of the Great Tribulation [of 1,260 days] with the time required for the judgment of survivors Jesus [the Christ] will conduct after His return (Matt. 24:45-Matt. 25:46).

Then an additional 45 days is added to that, which may refer to the time it will take to set up the government, cleanse the Temple, and make final preparations for the Millennial Kingdom to begin, 1335 days after the Abomination of Desolation.”

Adding 45 days to Pesach on Apr 15, 2020 will take us to Shavuot on May 30, 2020, which commemorates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai, and the renewal of our acceptance of God’s gift; God “regifts” the Torah.

Oct 3, 2016 – Trumpets or Rosh HaShanah

Apr 15, 2020 – Passover or Pesach, start of Spring and a new beginning, the Wedding Banquet

May 30, 2020 – Weeks or Pentecost or Shavuot - end of Spring

Torah means "instruction," and offers a way of life for those who follow it.

THE WEDDING BANQUET

Revelation 19:6-9    The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
    the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult
    and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
    and his Bride has made herself ready;
it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—

for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

A HARVEST OF SPRINGFLOWERS

Shavuot is also the last harvest in Spring and symbolizes an in-gathering.   It is a harvest of Springflowers, the inhabitants of New Heaven, New Earth.
